Features

Built for grassroots football

Not a generic gym app with a football badge on it. Every feature exists because amateur players train around jobs, one or two club nights and weekend fixtures.

The details that matter

FIFA 11+-style warm-up

In studies, teams that regularly did the FIFA 11+ warm-up had fewer injuries. Ours uses the same parts and dose: running drills, strength, jumping and balance at three levels, then faster running, about 20 minutes. The app counts warm-ups and nudges you below two a week. See the official FIFA 11+ programme.

Nordics and Copenhagens

Built up through pre-season and kept going all season at a low dose you can sustain. Never the day before or after a game, never before club training on the same day. Programmes including the Nordic were linked with about half the hamstring injury rate in studies.

Apple Health and Health Connect

Optional. Reads resting heart rate, HRV, sleep and watch-recorded sessions (distance, high-speed running, top speed). Each type is asked for separately. Never used for ads and never sold.

Shared club fixture lists

One fixture list per team, filled in by teammates with an invite code. Leagues in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Changes need your team’s editor or two teammates to agree.

35+ setting

An extra day before heavy legs after a double-header unless your check-in is green, calf strength twice a week, and a chest-pain card: stop playing, call 999.

Gym or home, per session

A full no-gym pathway with bodyweight, bands and a loaded backpack. Switch equipment for any session and the exercises swap automatically.

Pain and red flags

Rate pain 0–10. The app swaps the exercise, halves that area’s work, or stops it and points you to a physio. After a hamstring, groin or ankle injury it follows your physio’s stage.

Players aged 13 to 17

Supported with parental consent: a parent gives consent for 13 to 15, and is invited for 16 and 17. High-privacy defaults, no leaderboards, no body-composition numbers, and a weekly hours cap.

No heading drills

The app never programmes heading. It shows The FA’s heading guidance as a card: for adults, at most one session a week with heading practice, up to 10 headers.
