Delete your account
You can delete your Match Ready: Football account and data at any time, free, from inside the app or by email. This page is for ARX Algorithms Ltd’s Match Ready: Football app on iPhone and Android.
Option 1: in the app
- Open Match Ready: Football and go to the Profile tab.
- Tap Delete account and data.
- Confirm. Optional: tap Export my data first to keep a copy.
This works without a subscription.
Option 2: by email
Email [email protected] from the email address on your account, with the subject “Delete my Match Ready: Football account”. We may ask you to confirm it’s you. We’ll delete the account within one month and confirm by email, usually much sooner.
Parents of players aged 13 to 15 can ask us to delete their child’s account in the same way, from the parent account email.
What gets deleted
- Your account, profile and sign-in details.
- Training logs, check-ins, test results and session history.
- Health answers: wellness, pain, illness, head injury reports and return stages, health screening answers and the optional cycle log.
- Anything read from Apple Health or Health Connect.
- Your club team memberships, and your user ID from any fixtures you added.
Data is removed from our live database straight away and from backups within 30 days.
What we keep
- Subscription purchase records (product, dates, store), for 6 years, because tax law requires it. They contain no health data.
- Fixtures you added to a shared club list stay for your team, without your user ID.
Deleting your account doesn’t cancel a subscription. Cancel in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. To stop Apple Health or Health Connect access, you can also remove Match Ready: Football in your phone’s Health or Health Connect settings.
